About this boat
The RiverBoats 430 is a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) with a solid hull and inflatable tubes. This combination gives it something no aluminium boat in our fleet has: minimal draft. It reaches water less than 40 cm deep, into the reed edges and shallow bays where pike and perch concentrate in spring and early autumn.
The inflatable tubes are divided into sealed compartments: the boat stays afloat even if one is damaged, making it the safest option in rough conditions. It planes quickly with the 20HP Mercury, handles easily at low speed, and is stable enough to fish standing from both platforms.
MotorGuide Xi3 GPS anchor holds position silently along a weed edge. The Lowrance Elite 7 shows depth, bottom structure, and fish including in the shallow 0.5 - 1m water where this boat excels. LiveScope is available as an add-on: seeing fish in real time in shallow, clear water is where sonar technology is most effective.

Bow-Mounted Electric Motor Motorguide Xi3 with GPS Anchor and Remote Control. The motor is equipped with its own 100 Ah battery. It is used for precise shoreline coverage, trolling, anchoring via GPS, and maneuvering assistance.
Elite 7'
Elite 7' with 7-Inch Display. Excellent underwater detail. Stores waypoints, routes, and track history. Displays fish, bottom structure, and underwater objects.
Greatly simplifies both fishing and navigation on the water.

Right for you if…
You're targeting pike in spring or autumn. Reed-lined bays and flooded shallows are the best pike spots in May and September and only a boat with minimal draft gets there. This is what the RiverBoats 430 was built for.
You're fishing beginner. The inflatable tubes, low centre of gravity, and easy handling make this the safest and most forgiving boat in our fleet. No previous experience needed, the briefing covers everything.
You prefer fishing solo or with one partner. At 4.3m with 2 casting platforms, this boat works best with 1 - 2 anglers who want space to move and cast without crowding each other.
You want full equipment at the best price in our fleet. From €120/day the most affordable option, with the same GPS anchor, fish finder, and full safety kit as our larger boats. LiveScope available as add-on.
You want to try LiveScope. RIB + LiveScope is a completely different experience. You see individual pike holding in the reeds before you cast.

Can I rent the RiverBoats 430 without a license?
Yes, if you have experience operating a motorboat and a basic understanding of navigation principles. We will ask for verbal confirmation of your experience and provide a safety briefing.
Is there a fish finder or plotter on the boat?
Yes, the boat is equipped with an Elite 7' fish finder and GPS plotter that displays depth, bottom structure, and fish.

Is this boat suitable for beginner anglers?
Yes, the RiverBoats 430 RIB is perfect for beginners. It’s easy to handle, stable, steady, and safe. We also provide a brief safety briefing before you head out on the water. This boat is our favorite choice for 1–2 anglers.
Can I rent this boat with a trailer?
Unfortunately, no, we do not rent boats with trailers.
We deliver the boats ourselves to the rental location - for example, to cottages. This allows us to:
Check the reliability of the dock and storage conditions
- Find the nearest boat launch and ensure safe launching and retrieval
- Provide safety and handling instructions
- Assess the characteristics of the lake or body of water - depths, bottom terrain, presence of rocks
We used to offer “boat + trailer” rentals but experienced many cases of damage during transport or improper launching/retrieval. For your safety and ours, we discontinued this practice.
Is it allowed to operate the boat under the influence of alcohol?
For rented boats:
There is a strict zero-tolerance alcohol policy (0.0‰) when renting a boat.
Rental companies in Finland always include a clause prohibiting alcohol consumption while operating the vessel.
Violations may result in:
- Immediate termination of the rental agreement
- Full financial liability for any damages
- Possible fines or even criminal charges
For private boat owners:
In Finland, the legal blood alcohol limit for operating a private recreational vessel (up to 24 meters long) is up to 1.0‰.
However, even below 1.0‰, police may consider you unfit to operate if alcohol impairs your coordination, attention, or reaction.
These rules apply to all motorboats, including low-power boats.
