Suomi-Fishing was created to connect anglers from around the world with the very best fishing spots across Finland. But we do more than just rent out fishing cottages and boats - we spend every free day exploring new locations to bring you the most rewarding experiences. We know when and where to catch pike over 100 cm, and how to help you enjoy an unforgettable fishing holiday.

We’re a team of passionate explorers who combine deep knowledge of Finnish nature, hands-on fishing experience, and a love for adventure. This isn’t mass-market tourism - we offer a personal approach for every angler, whether you're just starting out or chasing your next trophy catch.

For over 15 years, I’ve been helping travelers find the perfect place to stay in Finland - from the southern coast all the way to the far north of Lapland. I even completed a Finnish fishing school to understand better and connect with anglers. My goal is to match you with the right accommodation, fishing spot, and season - so your trip is both rewarding and relaxing.

I spend about 100 days a year on the water. Every time I arrive at a new lake, I feel like a traveler mysel, so I fully understand what can be challenging about fishing independently in a new country. I’ll help you plan the perfect 3–7 day fishing route, recommend effective lures, and share tips on technique and fish behavior to make your trip a success.

What We Offer

Most of our fishing cottages are located right by the water - on the shores of lakes, rivers, or the Finnish Archipelago. Each one typically includes its own private shoreline, a rowing boat, and a dock.


You can choose between secluded cabins with no neighbors in sight or cozy vacation complexes with a few houses.



Depending on the season, group size, and your preferences for comfort and fishing, we’ll help you choose the ideal place to stay and provide an overview of nearby waters.

Our fleet includes:


All boats are fishing-ready: casting platforms, rod holders, storage compartments, and great stability. We’ll deliver the boat directly to your cottage.

Fishing Gear Rental*

Casting and trolling rods, a selection of lures, landing net, essential fishing tools, scale, measuring tape, and a fish storage box.


* Full gear sets are rented only with a boat and delivered to your accommodation. We don’t rent gear separately without a boat. If needed, we can provide a short briefing on boat handling and different fishing techniques.


If you're flying into Finland and can’t bring your own tackle, we’ve got you covered.
